So many blooms and just a joy to have in the garden!

I planted these roses last spring in zone 6B. These say they are Hardy to zone 5 and I believe it. We had temperature -25* this winter and these survived though I had to prune them hard. The tops died but it has come back wonderfully.

I've had this climber for about eight years, climbing up a giant obelisk which is a bit too small for it. I cut it back very hard each spring and am always amazed at how prolific it is, an explosion of roses throughout the season. The photo is very accurate. The petals edges are the deepest velvety magenta and the centers are creamy white. Very stunning. In my garden, this rose is surrounded by a whole bed of David Austin's and it totally holds its own and is completely disease free. While my other roses get their fair share of blackspot, while manageable, this rose has never had it. It also holds its blooms longer than most.

I have had this rose for several years and never disappoints… early, big splash of color! Beautiful … however, does not bloom continuously … a few blooms here and there through the season after pruning to group of five leaves.
